Why Apply?

Our Board has been dedicated to improving the lives of the Lake Country community since 1965. We look to partner with nonprofit organizations to move our mission forward.

Our Allocations Committee personally reviews every application to understand the mission and impact behind each request.  

What’s involved in applying?

Applying for grant funding is a simple six-step process.

  1. Review Your Eligibility
    Confirm your organization is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Lake Country community.
  2. Prepare Your Information
    Gather your mission statement, annual budget, IRS 990 tax forms, leadership information and details about the program or project needing funding.
  3. Submit Your Application
    Complete the online application before the annual deadline (usually in March) and submit it for review.
  4. Application Review
    Our Allocations Committee personally tours, interviews and carefully reviews each request for community need, local impact and meaningful results. Returning applicants are toured on a rotating basis.
  5. Grant Awards Announced
    The volunteer board approves and announces grant recipients in May.
  6. Make an Impact
    Put your funding to work. Expand programs, strengthen services and better serve the Lake Country area!
